Educators’ Art Fair: Museum Highlights
Saturday, March 6th
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
James S. Copley Auditorium, The San Diego Museum of Art
Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
$5 pre-registration fee

Teachers are invited to learn new art projects inspired by the The San Diego Museum of Art’s permanent collection and network with other colleagues at the Museum’s annual Educators’Art Fair. This event is designed especially for K–12 teachers with little or no art training and will provide lesson plan ideas centered on the Museum’s core permanent collections, including the arts of Asia, North America, Modern Mexico, and Europe. Participate in four, 50-minute workshops/artist demonstrations, learn a variety of art-making techniques, and receive a helpful “How-To” guide. A continental breakfast will be served.

Tickets must be purchased prior to the event day, and early registration is recommended. Tickets may be purchased in person at The San Diego Museum of Art admission desk during regular museum hours. Tickets are also available through Ticketmaster by calling (800) 745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.

For more information, please call or email Amy Briere, Coordinator, Educator and Student Programs at 619-696-1952 or abriere@sdmart.org.

The 2010 Educators’ Art Fair at the San Diego Museum of Art is made possible by a generous grant from Bridgepoint Education.
