Teachers Earn Credit!

Educators may take most of our classes or workshops for credit through California State University San Marcos (CSUSM). Classes listed with C (credit) are available for one unit of CSUSM credit. To register for credit, fees must be paid to CSUSM within the first two weeks of class using their online class registration at www.therightcourse.net (1 unit = $86 payable to CSUSM). See CSUSM registration codes below course descriptions. Additional fees for art classes paid separately to the San Diego Museum of Art still apply.

California credentialed teachers can earn units for professional growth or toward a Supplementary Authorization in Art Education through SDMA and CSUSM by completing 11 one-unit courses each consisting of 15 hours of class time. There is no specific time limit in which to complete the Authorization. All classes are held at the Museum.

The Museum Art School (MAS) is offering a limited number of scholarships for educators. For more information, please call (619) 231-1996 or email education@sdmart.org.
