Teen Art Café at SDMA

Monday, December 8th, 2008
6:00–8:00 p.m.
Free
James S. Copley Auditorium

Teen artists are invited to the Museum to celebrate the SDMA-generated exhibition Louise Nevelson¹s Night Presence II: Conservation, Contextualization, Celebration. Meet other teen artists and art faculty at area colleges, while having the chance to learn about the ideas behind this unique exhibition. Café activities will include making Nevelson-inspired sculpture, light refreshments, as well as a presentation by an SDMA staff member involved in the development of the exhibition.

For more information, please call Amy Briere, Coordinator of Educator and Student Programs at 619-696-1952 or email teencafe@sdmart.org.

Save the date: the spring Teen Art Café at SDMA event will be held on Monday, April 20th, 2009.

Generous support for the Teen Art Café at SDMA events has been provided by the Maserini Foundations/Wells Fargo Bank.
