Go global at the next installment of Culture & Cocktails at The San Diego Museum of Art. You’ll meet Hugo Crosthwaite as he draws his way into the exhibition Brutal Beauty and explore the works of Uruguayan master Joaquín Torres-García in Constructing Abstraction with Wood. This international tour de force explodes with mixed-media projects, the sounds of Smile Now Cry Later and DJ Dr. Indulgent. Take five for tacos and sip on tequila as you tango the night away…

Whether you’re a hipster or a soccer mom, you’ll want to build and assemble a colorful Torres-García inspired wood keychain to hang from your belt loop or in your minivan.

Something to Write Home About:
Construct a mixed media postcard inspired by the drawings of Hugo Crosthwaite. Whether you keep it for yourself or send it off to others is up to you.
