“Overview of the Oceanside Museum of Art”
October 20, Monday

James Pahl, Executive Director of the Oceanside Museum of Art, will discuss the museum’s exhibitions showcasing the finest art of the Southern California region, including paintings, sculpture, studio furniture, art quilts, and architectural glass.


“Kimono as Art: The Landscapes of Itchiku Kubota”
November 17, Monday

Miriam Jupp, SDMA docent, will discuss the Museum’s magnificent display of abstract landscape on monumentally scaled kimono crafted by Japanese kimono designer Itchiku Kubota. This exhibition is presented jointly by the Timken Museum of Art and SDMA.
